Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to join a professional Facilities Management team supporting one of the UK's largest retail clients across a nationwide estate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, Building Maintenance Technician, or Facilities Maintenance Engineer with experience across multiple building fabric disciplines. Working in a hands-on role, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, repairs and inspections across commercial properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with customer requirements, service level agreements (SLAs), and health and safety standards.

Key Duties

  • Carry out planned and reactive building fabric maintenance, repairs and remedial works.
  • Complete general building maintenance tasks across a range of commercial sites.
  • Assess repair requirements and support the preparation of quotations.
  • Complete accurate job documentation, including photographs, materials used and maintenance reports.
  • Maintain tools, equipment and van stock to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Follow health and safety procedures, customer site requirements and company policies.
  • Respond professionally to customer requests and build strong working relationships.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Facilities Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Technician, Building Maintenance Engineer, or similar role.
  • Multi-skilled experience across building fabric trades.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial building maintenance and repair works.
  • Ability to diagnose issues, assess repair requirements and provide practical solutions.
  • Experience completing maintenance reports and job documentation.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety and compliance.

What We Offer

  • Salary of £30,000 - £37,000 per annum.
  • Permanent position.
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
