Acorn by Synergie is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers, Cat C Drivers, and LGV Drivers for a well-known local business based at their Glasgow Hub.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV drivers looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

You'll be delivering within a local radius, working with a modern fleet and enjoying regular weekday hours.

What We Offer

£17.00 per hour (PAYE). £20.00 per hour (Umbrella PAYE).

Temporary to permanent opportunity.

Minimum 8 hours' pay guaranteed per day.

Monday to Friday working pattern. 6am starts.

Modern fleet of vehicles.

Free on-site parking.

Weekly pay with online payslips. 28 days' paid annual leave (pro rata for PAYE).

Key Duties

Complete 3-6 deliveries within a 50-mile radius of the Glasgow hub.

Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift.

Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records.

Comply with all road transport legislation and company procedures.

Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.

Minimum of 12 months' HGV driving experience.

Valid Driver CPC qualification.

Digital Tachograph Card.

Counterbalance FLT experience is preferred but not essential.

Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work.
