We're looking for a skilled Workshop MIG and TIG Welder/Fabricator to join a busy fabrication shop. This is hands-on bench + jig work fabricating structural steel and aluminium components from CAD/engineering drawings.
Key Duties:
- Fabricate items from CAD drawings and engineering drawings - cutting, fitting, and assembly.
- MIG weld structural steel and aluminium to a high standard.
- Work on heavier steel fabrications and larger assemblies.
- Set up and use jigs/fixtures to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specs - tolerances, weld symbols, BOMs.
- Work to drawing dimensions, keep workshop tidy, and follow health and safety guidelines.
