Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Medical Manufacturing Operatives to join a modern and friendly medical manufacturing business in Plympton. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with medical manufacturing, production or small component experience who are looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent.

You'll work within a sterile manufacturing environment, handling small medical components and following strict quality and hygiene procedures. The role involves standing for extended periods and wearing full PPE, including gowns, shoe covers and head covers. The site is easily accessible by public transport and offers free onsite parking.

Key Duties

  • Work within a sterile clean room manufacturing environment.
  • Handle and assemble small medical components.
  • Follow detailed production, quality and hygiene procedures.
  • Wear the required full PPE correctly at all times.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the production environment.
  • Complete production tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company processes.
  • Work as part of a friendly and professional manufacturing team.

Requirements

  • Previous medical manufacturing or production experience.
  • Experience working with small components would be advantageous.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods.
  • Willingness to wear full PPE, including gowns, shoe covers and head covers.
  • Happy to work a rotating shift pattern.
  • Reliable, flexible and willing to learn.
  • Looking for a temporary-to-permanent opportunity.
