Their products combine sophisticated mechanical systems with electrical, controls and software technology and are used in demanding commercial environments internationally. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their engineering team and play an important role in the design, development and continuous improvement of their product range. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to see their designs progress from concept CAD manufacture installation customer . This is a 100% on-site position based in Sparkford, Somerset. There is no hybrid or remote working available. What We Offer £32,000 per annum. Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm. Full-time, permanent position. 20 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays. Free on-site parking. Opportunity to work across design, development, manufacture, installation and customer use. The Role Working as part of a multidisciplinary Engineering team, you will be involved in mechanical design activities from initial concept through to production, installation and customer use. The role will involve both new product development and improvement of existing products , with a strong emphasis on practical, manufacturable and commercially viable engineering solutions.
