Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Material Control Operative to join a busy warehouse and logistics team in Thornbury. This is a varied warehouse-based role offering full training and long-term opportunities for candidates with previous warehouse experience and strong attention to detail.
Shift Pattern Pay:
- Monday to Friday rotating shifts.
- 06:00 - 14:00.
- 12:00 - 20:00.
- £13.91 per hour.
- Overtime paid at premium rates.
Key Duties:
- Receive, check, and book in materials against delivery notes.
- Pick and issue materials for production, instruments, and marketing.
- Carry out accurate stock picking and warehouse duties.
- Support weekly inventory and stock management activities.
- Assist departments with stock and non-stock queries.
- Produce commercial invoices.
- Carry out PAT testing duties following training.
- Complete manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience essential.
- Counterbalance and Reach Truck experience beneficial.
- FLT licence preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
- Good computer and system skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
