Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Finishing Foreman to join a well-established national house builder on a new build residential development in Newport. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finishing Foreman, Finishing Manager, or Assistant Site Manager to oversee the final stages of a high-quality housing development, ensuring plots are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards ready for customer handover.

Key Duties

  • Manage all finishing trades across occupied and completed plots.
  • Coordinate subcontractors to ensure works are completed in line with the programme.
  • Carry out quality inspections and maintain high finishing standards.
  • Manage snagging and de-snagging works through to final handover.
  • Liaise with the Site Manager, Customer Care team, and subcontractors to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Ensure plots are completed in accordance with NHBC standards and company quality expectations.
  • Monitor progress and report on plot completions.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Finishing Foreman, Finishing Manager, Assistant Site Manager, or Site Manager within new build housing developments.
  • Proven track record delivering high-quality plot finishes and customer handovers.
  • Strong knowledge of NHBC standards and residential quality requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid at Work certificate.
