Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced 85 Tonne Overhead Gantry Crane Operator on behalf of a demolition contractor working on a major project in Llanwern, Newport. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-profile site with a professional and safety-focused team.
Key Duties
- Operate the In-Cab Overhead Gantry Crane to safely lift, remove, and manoeuvre heavy structural components.
- Remove heavy machinery foundations.
- Deconstruct large, old, or unstable structures.
- Maintain safety and compliance standards on site.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating an OHC / Gantry Crane in a steelworks or industrial environment.
- CCNSG Site Safety Passport, or willingness to obtain (client can facilitate and fund).
- Full UK driving licence and own transport.
- Willingness to complete pre-employment medical and substance abuse testing.
- Prepared to undergo due cause testing on site.
