Overview

Industrial Racking Installer – Exeter

Salary: 35,000 – 42,000 per annum (DOE) plus overtime and benefits. Full-time, Monday – Friday. Company van provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain industrial pallet racking and mezzanine floors.
• Work safely at height using scissor lifts and hand tools.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to cut and assemble materials to specification.
• Assist with on-time completion of installations to meet client requirements.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly, installation, fitting, or steel erecting work.
• Strong practical skills and ability to use hand tools such as drills and band saws.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Full UK driving licence essential (towing licence desirable).
• Physically fit and comfortable working at height.
• Flexible and willing to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
• Scissor lift licence desirable.
• Forklift (counterbalance/reach truck) licence advantageous.
• Good communication skills and team player attitude.

Training & Certifications Provided

• IPAF (Powered Access).
• SEIRS.
• CSCS Card.
• Forklift & Reach Truck Certification.
