Welder Fabricator | Fabricator Welder | Fabrication Welder Hirwaun | Monday to Thursday, 7:00am - 3:30pm | Friday, 7:00am - 2:00pm | 38 Hours per Week | Temporary to Permanent Introduction Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for experienced Welder Fabricators to join a well-established engineering company based in Hirwaun. Established in 1985, our client is a family-owned engineering business with an excellent reputation for delivering practical, efficient solutions to complex industrial projects across the UK. Specialising in structural steelwork, mechanical engineering, steel fabrication, welding, temporary works and on-site installation, the company is continuing to grow and is looking to expand its skilled workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Welder Fabricator, Fabricator Welder, Steel Fabricator, Structural Fabricator or Workshop Welder looking for long-term employment with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period. Key Duties Carry out welding and fabrication work within a busy engineering workshop. Fabricate steel components from engineering drawings and technical specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately. Manufacture structural steelwork and fabricated components to high quality standards. Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Carry out quality checks to ensure completed work meets customer specifications. Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet production deadlines. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and follow all Health & Safety procedures. Requirements Previous experience as a Welder Fabricator, Fabricator Welder, Steel Fabricator or similar fabrication role. Proven welding and fabrication experience within a workshop environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Fabrication experience is essential. A welding or fabrication apprenticeship is desirable. Recent welding codings or qualifications would be advantageous. Flexible approach to working overtime during busy periods. What We Offer Temporary to permanent opportunity.
