This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering team where you will play a key role in setting, proving out and operating CNC/NC lathe machinery, producing precision components to exact specifications. Rotating shift pattern: ~ Set and operate CNC/NC lathe machinery. Prove out new and existing CNC programmes. Programme and set machines using Fanuc or similar controls. Manufacture precision components to engineering specifications. Carry out self-inspection using measuring equipment. Record production activities accurately within internal scheduling systems. Report production issues to Team Leaders. Maintain high housekeeping standards through daily 5S activities. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the machine shop. Previous experience setting and operating CNC/NC lathes. Ability to prove out new CNC programmes. Competence in self-inspection and quality checking using measuring equipment. Experience machining stainless steel components. Flexible and proactive approach to work. Experience working within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
