Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Forklift Operative to join a well‑established manufacturing company operating across two sites in Lopen and Bridgwater. This is a full‑time, ongoing role offering excellent pay, strong benefits, and the opportunity to work within a supportive and fast‑paced team. The role is split between two locations: Lopen – 3 weeks per month. Bridgwater – 1 week per month (end of month).

Key Duties

  • Operating forklift trucks (Counterbalance / Reach / VNA as required).
  • Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
  • Moving and storing stock in designated warehouse locations.
  • Ensuring stock is stored correctly and securely.
  • Supporting general warehouse duties when required.
  • Picking orders accurately using pick scanners.
  • Packing items securely to company standards.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

Requirements

  • Good attention to detail with a commitment to high standards.
  • Valid forklift licence (desirable).
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive tasks.
  • Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work well as part of a team.
