This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Food Production Operative, Batch Cook Operative, Food Manufacturing Operative, Food Processing Operative who is looking to join a well-established food manufacturer offering consistent weekday hours and long-term career prospects. Candidates must have previous production or food manufacturing experience. £12.71 per hour. 37.5 hours per week. Temporary-to-permanent opportunity. Long-term career opportunity with a growing business. Key Duties Prepare batch-cooked food products and large-scale recipes according to production schedules and build guides. Operate commercial food production equipment Ensure consistent product quality, including taste, portion size, ingredient specification, and presentation. Follow strict food safety standards, including HACCP guidelines and temperature control procedures. Maintain accurate batch labelling and product traceability.. Restock ingredients and support inventory management within the production area. Carry out end-of-shift cleaning, sanitation, and hygiene procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant food production environment. Requirements Previous experience as a Production Cook, Food Production Operative or similar role is essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and production instructions. Good understanding of food safety standards Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting heavy items. Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
