The Role
Working within Forestry England's South England Forest District team, you'll help ensure car parks operate effectively while delivering a welcoming and professional service to visitors.
This varied outdoor role combines customer service, environmental stewardship and practical site management.
You'll spend your working days within the New Forest landscape, engaging with visitors, supporting compliance within paid parking areas and helping protect sensitive habitats from unnecessary disturbance.
During quieter periods, other general site duties may be required, including site tidying and litter picking.
Whether you're speaking with visitors about the responsible enjoyment of the forest, monitoring parking facilities or helping maintain safe and accessible sites, you'll be an important ambassador for Forestry England and the natural environment it cares for.
