Are you a proven recruitment leader with a passion for sales, business development and building high-performing teams? We're looking for an ambitious Branch Manager to lead our Tiverton and Exeter operations, driving business growth, developing client relationships and inspiring a successful recruitment team to deliver exceptional results. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional who thrives on winning new business, developing existing accounts and leading from the front. You'll have full responsibility for the commercial performance of the branches, with the autonomy to shape growth strategies, maximise profitability and strengthen our presence across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth through new business generation, networking and proactive business development activity.
  • Identify and secure new client opportunities.
  • Grow and develop existing accounts to maximise revenue and strengthen client partnerships.
  • Take full ownership of branch financial performance, including revenue, profitability and budget delivery.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of recruitment professionals to achieve individual and collective targets.
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity and branch KPIs, implementing action plans where required.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through regular meetings, reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience for both clients and candidates.
  • Increase brand awareness within the local business community through networking, events and market engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment legislation, company standards and client requirements at all times.

Requirements

  • Proven success in recruitment sales and business development.
  • Previous experience managing and developing a recruitment team.
  • A strong track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to lead from the front in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring and performance management capabilities.
  • A proactive, resilient and results-focused approach.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region as required.
  • Previous recruitment industry experience is essential, alongside experience of achieving sales targets and delivering strong commercial results.
