Production Operative, Loading Shovel Operator, Process Operative or Industrial Operative
to join an established industrial operation in Newton Abbot.
This is a hands-on
production and industrial operations role
where you'll spend much of your shift operating a front-end/loading shovel, alongside operating processing equipment and carrying out routine checks and production tasks.
If you're experienced in an industrial or production environment, confident operating
mobile plant and loading equipment , and looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with no weekend working, this could be an excellent opportunity.

Key Duties
Operate a front-end/loading shovel for the majority of the shift.
Operate shredding, blending and milling equipment.
Complete pre-shift inspections and routine equipment checks.
Carry out basic maintenance and report any defects.
Operate mobile plant, with FLT training provided.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the site.
Work towards production and quality targets.
Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.
Support the production and maintenance teams as required.
Requirements
Valid Loading Shovel licence.
Full UK driving licence.
Previous industrial, production or process experience is preferred.
Experience operating mobile plant or heavy machinery is advantageous.
Good numeracy, literacy and basic IT skills.
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
Reliable, practical and comfortable working in a hands-on industrial environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
