This role operates within established systems and procedures to manage the traffic planning team and driver operations, ensuring compliance, cost efficiency and service excellence.
Key Duties:
- Managing all daily transport and logistics activities.
- Delivering effective route planning and customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring compliance with legislation for Operators' Licences and Drivers' Working Time Directive.
Requirements:
- Ability to manage, lead and develop drivers, transport planners and the Driver Fleet Coordinator.
- Ability to meet budgeted operational targets.
- Ability to support commercial growth through cost control.
- Ability to monitor and improve fleet utilisation.
- Participation in Groupe Compliance Meetings.
- Implementing and managing Health and Safety procedures.
- Working with the GM on annual budget planning.
- Contributing to Weekly Flash Report Meetings.
- Supporting ISO 9001 and 14001 requirements.
- Ability to manage customer satisfaction and contracted SLAs.
- Working with HR on recruitment, training and processes.
- Working with the Fleet Manager on maintenance schedules and incident reporting.
- Leading and attending weekly planning meetings.
- Supporting ongoing improvement and performance control.
- Managing changing priorities to maintain efficiency, productivity and fleet profitability.
- Reporting weekly and monthly operational highlights to the GM.
What We Offer:
- Salary up to 55,000.

- Full time hours Monday to Friday.
- 25 days' holiday rising to 27 with service.
