This is an excellent permanent opportunity for someone with CNC turning and milling experience , or for a technically minded individual looking to develop a long-term career in precision engineering.
Full training is available for the right candidate, with genuine opportunities to progress to a CNC Setter .
Please note: Own transport is essential due to the rural location.
Key Duties Operate CNC turning and milling machines to manufacture precision-engineered components.
Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
Produce components accurately to engineering drawings and specifications.
Carry out quality inspections using measuring equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
Identify and report machine or quality issues promptly.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Follow company quality standards and health and safety procedures.
Requirements Previous experience operating CNC turning and milling machines is beneficial but not essential.
Full training provided for candidates with a strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Experience within engineering, manufacturing, machining, or machine operation is advantageous.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is desirable.
Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Reliable, practical, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Own transport is essential due to the location.
Hours Pay Monday to Friday . 42.5 hours per week .
Working hours: 7am/8am-5pm.
Flexible working hours available for the right candidate. £15.00 per hour .
