Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking an experienced Gas Servicing & Breakdown Engineer to join a reputable estate company. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality service, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance across domestic properties. You will be responsible for carrying out gas servicing, fault-finding, repairs and breakdown work while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out annual gas safety checks and boiler servicing.
  • Diagnose and repair domestic gas boiler breakdowns.
  • Fault-find on heating systems and associated controls.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and compliance documentation accurately.
  • Ensure work is completed safely and in line with current Gas Safe regulations.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service at every visit.
  • Manage workload efficiently and meet service level agreements.

Requirements

Essential

  • Current ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, MET1).
  • Valid Gas Safe registration.
  • Proven experience in gas servicing and breakdown diagnostics.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Desirable

  • LPG qualifications.
  • Experience working within social housing or private domestic sectors.
  • Electrical fault-finding knowledge.
  • Unvented hot water qualification.
