Job Description Gas Servicing & Breakdown Engineer | Gas Engineer | Gas Service Engineer | Gas Breakdown Engineer Plymouth | £21.39 per hour | Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm | Temporary - 3 Months Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking an experienced Gas Servicing & Breakdown Engineer to join a reputable estate company. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality service, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance across domestic properties. You will be responsible for carrying out gas servicing, fault-finding, repairs and breakdown work while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest safety standards. 21.39 per hour. ~ Company van and fuel card provided. ~ Mobile phone and tablet provided. ~ Generous overtime opportunities. ~ Pension scheme. ~ Ongoing training and career development. ~ Annual leave plus bank holidays. ~ Supportive team environment with genuine progression opportunities. ~ Temporary 3-month placement. Carry out annual gas safety checks and boiler servicing. Diagnose and repair domestic gas boiler breakdowns. Fault-find on heating systems and associated controls. Ensure work is completed safely and in line with current Gas Safe regulations. Deliver outstanding customer service at every visit. Manage workload efficiently and meet service level agreements. Valid Gas Safe registration. Proven experience in gas servicing and breakdown diagnostics. Full UK driving licence. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Experience working within social housing or private domestic sectors. Electrical fault-finding knowledge. Unvented hot water qualification.
