As a Trainee Precision Tools Production Inspector, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training while learning to ensure that manufactured components meet strict engineering and quality standards. Working alongside experienced inspectors, you will develop skills in technical drawing interpretation, precision measurement techniques, quality control processes, and defect analysis. In addition to on-site training, there may be opportunities for further classroom-based learning and professional development.
Key Duties- Learn to use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, vernier calipers, gauges, and shadowgraphs.
- Assist in carrying out dimensional and visual inspections of components and finished products.
- Verify that products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Support first-off, in-process, and final inspections.
- Identify defects and report non-conforming products.
