This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Industrial Chemist to maintain compliance of treatments (anodisation and crack detection) to NADCAP standards within a forward-thinking organisation renowned for precision engineering, technical innovation, and manufacturing excellence.

Key Duties

  • Work within production schedules and product process requirements to identify appropriate manufacturing methods.
  • Liaise with Engineering on prototype and development activities.
  • Ensure Health and Safety requirements are considered and incorporated into process design.
  • Assume responsibility for the safe implementation of changed processes, including written and verbal operating procedures.
  • Identify and develop production, assembly, and test processes and procedures.
  • Perform chemical and coolant testing.
  • Ensure quality characteristics and requirements are maintained.
  • Develop standard work in line with QD and NADCAP requirements.
  • Act as point of contact for NADCAP PRI (NDT, Heat Treat and Anodise).
  • Act as NADCAP audit focal point.
  • Monitor processes and analyse data.
  • Maintain documentation and records.
  • Create technique sheets.
