Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for Air Frame Fitters / Sheet Metal Workers on behalf of our prestigious client, Pall Aerospace, based in Redruth, Cornwall. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting aerospace projects including the CH47 and Sea King, with the added benefit of working near the stunning Cornish coastline. Ideal for experienced aircraft technicians or sheet metal workers looking for a rewarding contract role in a world-class environment.

Key Duties

  • Structural assembly of aerospace components.
  • Riveting parts including Sea King Sand Filter Mod footplates.
  • Building pure air filters to manufacturer specifications.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately.
  • Ensuring all work meets strict quality and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Air Frame Fitter, Aircraft Technician, Structural Fitter, or Sheet Metal Worker in aerospace.
  • Strong riveting and sheet metal fabrication skills.
  • Ability to read detailed engineering drawings.
  • Human Factors Certificate (mandatory).
  • Time-served with relevant qualifications.
  • Own tools and equipment.
  • Public liability insurance (if operating as a contractor).
  • Willingness to attend an on-site trade test in Redruth.
  • Immediate availability preferred.
