Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced HR Manager to join a well-established manufacturing organisation based in Corby. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager, HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or People Manager who thrives in a standalone, operational HR role where you can genuinely influence business performance and drive organisational change.

Joining the business during a significant period of investment and transformation, you'll be the senior HR presence on site, partnering closely with operational leaders to deliver a proactive people strategy, lead employee relations, support organisational change and help shape the future of the manufacturing operation. This is a highly visible leadership role offering autonomy, responsibility and the opportunity to make a lasting impact within a growing manufacturing business.

Key Duties
  • Lead employee relations activity, including complex casework, disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance management.
  • Manage organisational change programmes, including consultations, restructures and redeployment processes.
  • Partner with operational managers and senior leaders, providing expert HR advice and coaching on all people matters.
  • Build strong working relationships across the manufacturing site to support business objectives.
  • Lead engagement with Trade Union representatives and promote positive industrial relations.
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, talent development and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Coach and develop managers to strengthen leadership capability across the business.
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures and employment law are applied consistently and effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver an outstanding HR service.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of the people strategy.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or similar standalone/site-based HR role.
  • Significant experience managing employee relations, organisational change, consultations, restructures and redeployment programmes.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering, industrial or production environment.
  • Experience working within a unionised environment and building positive relationships with Trade Union representatives.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and build credibility with managers, employees and senior leaders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent) would be advantageous.
