Introduction
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive to join our team and take responsibility for a varied caseload of commercial property matters.
You will manage your own files and advise clients across a broad range of commercial property transactions, including:

Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload covering commercial leases and Landlord & Tenant matters, including leases, assignments, licences, rent deposits and surrenders.
Advise clients on estate management and ongoing property matters.
Handle the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold commercial properties, including transactions involving occupational tenancies.
Support commercial and residential development projects, including site acquisitions, options, conditional contracts, promotion agreements, planning matters and plot sales.
Advise on more complex property matters, including secured lending, real estate finance, agricultural land and renewable energy projects.
Support the Corporate team with property due diligence.
Handle technical matters such as lease extensions, enfranchisement, title issues, portfolio transactions and compulsory purchase matters.
Manage files effectively, ensuring matters progress efficiently and meet financial and billing targets.
Develop strong, long-term client relationships and contribute to business development and networking activities.
Provide guidance and support to Legal Assistants and junior team members where required.
Maintain accurate case records and ensure all work complies with regulatory and professional standards.
Requirements
Qualified as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive in England & Wales.
Ideally 2-5+ years' PQE with strong Commercial Property experience.
Confident managing a caseload independently from instruction through to completion.
Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial property matters.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
A proactive, commercially aware approach with excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine commitment to client service.
Ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders.
Experience of, or an interest in, supervising and developing junior team members.
A collaborative, positive and team-focused approach.
