Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a hands-on Mechanical Fitter / Site Engineer to join a field service team based in Willand.
You'll work predominantly off-site at customer locations, assembling, installing, maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
Travel time is paid, with a company van and fuel card provided. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, with the opportunity to work across different customer sites rather than being workshop-based.

Key Duties
- Build and install mechanical systems, structures and industrial equipment on customer sites, working to specifications and deadlines.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance to keep machinery running efficiently and minimise downtime.
- Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs on industrial equipment, including bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, conveyors and pumps.
- Read and work from engineering drawings to construct, install and modify mechanical systems and structures. xgikmsk
- Work safely on customer sites, following permits and RAMS and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
