Job Description CNC Turner Machinist | CNC Turner | CNC Machinist Cardiff | £16.94 per hour (£34,354.32 per annum) + Regular Overtime | Monday-Friday | 39 Hours per Week | Full-Time | Permanent | ASAP Start Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a highly respected and long-established engineering and fabrication company based in Cardiff for an experienced CNC Turner Machinist. The ideal candidate will have experience with Siemens Sinumerik ShopTurn lathe programming. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the client's repair and servicing workshop, where you'll set, program and operate CNC lathes, producing one-off and batch components for heavy industrial equipment. 16.94 per hour (£34,354.32 per annum). ~ Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays and Saturdays. ~ Double time on Sundays. ~24 days' annual leave plus bank holidays. ~ Company pension scheme. ~ Consistent day shifts. ~ Early finish every Friday. ~ Full-time, permanent position. Monday to Thursday, 8am-4:30pm. ~ Operate and set up CNC lathes to produce high-quality components. Program directly from drawings using Siemens Sinumerik ShopTurn software. Measure and inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Work within a skilled machine shop environment across various industries. Time-served Turner / Toolmaker with proven machining experience. Proficiency in operating and setting up CNC lathes. Experience programming Siemens Sinumerik ShopTurn software. Experience with precision measurement techniques and inspection tools. Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment. Previous experience as a CNC Turner, Turning Machinist or CNC Turning Machinist.
