Senior Structural Engineer | Structural Engineer | Chartered Structural Engineer Cardiff | £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience | Permanent Introduction Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Senior Structural Engineer to join an established and growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Cardiff. The successful candidate will work across a diverse range of structural engineering projects, including residential developments, commercial buildings, industrial structures, refurbishments and bespoke structural designs. Chance to play an important role within an established and growing consultancy. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver structural engineering projects from concept through to completion. Undertake structural analysis, calculations and detailed design. Design structures using steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry. Manage project delivery, ensuring work is completed to programme, budget and required standards. Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and other design professionals. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians. Attend client meetings and site visits where required. Review designs and ensure compliance with relevant British Standards and Building Regulations. Requirements Essential: Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Significant experience working within a structural engineering consultancy. Technical knowledge of structural design and analysis. Experience designing in steel, concrete, timber and masonry. Ability to manage projects independently and take responsibility for technical delivery. Excellent communication and client-facing skills.Desirable: Chartered status with IStructE or ICE, or working towards chartership. Experience using structural design software. Experience using Revit.
