Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Systems Service Engineer to join a specialist engineering company based in Bristol, supporting high-vacuum systems for clients operating within the nuclear industry. Key Duties

  • Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex high-vacuum and process equipment.
  • Provide on-site service and technical support to UK-based clients.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Communicate technical findings clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to support design improvements and innovation.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers.

Requirements

  • Strong technical engineering background, ideally within electrical, control, or instrumentation systems.
  • Knowledge or experience of vacuum, gas applications, or high-vacuum systems.
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
  • SC or CTC security clearance, or the ability to obtain clearance.
