Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting Commercial Heating Engineers to join a commercial boiler installation project in Bournemouth. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals with experience in commercial boiler installations, plant rooms and heating systems to join a busy installation project offering competitive rates.
Key Duties
- Install three commercial boilers on a frame kit within a basement boiler room.
- Connect commercial boilers to a pre-fabricated header using 1¼-inch pipework.
- Install a 200kW commercial boiler within an upstairs plant room.
- Install press-fit copper pipework.
- Install 2-inch gas pipework.
- Carry out commercial heating installation work to a high standard of quality and workmanship.
- Work safely and efficiently, adhering to all Health & Safety regulations and site procedures.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and installation specifications.
Please note: All flue installation works will be completed by a separately appointed contractor.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commercial Heating Engineer, Commercial Gas Engineer, Commercial Pipefitter, Mechanical Engineer or Heating Installation Engineer.
- Commercial Gas experience is desirable.
- Experience working with screwed black iron pipework.
- Experience installing press-fit copper pipework.
- Proven experience carrying out commercial boiler installations and plant room installations.
- Ability to work independently from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety and high-quality workmanship.
