Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Systems Service Engineer to join a specialist engineering company based in Bristol, supporting high-vacuum systems for clients operating within the nuclear industry. Key Duties
- Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex high-vacuum and process equipment.
- Provide on-site service and technical support to UK-based clients.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Communicate technical findings clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with the engineering team to support design improvements and innovation.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers.
Requirements
- Strong technical engineering background, ideally within electrical, control, or instrumentation systems.
- Knowledge or experience of vacuum, gas applications, or high-vacuum systems.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
- SC or CTC security clearance, or the ability to obtain clearance.
