Junior Estimator (Hybrid Role: Office & Remote) Are you looking to build your career in estimating with a successful and dynamic business? Our client, based in Royal Wootton Bassett near Swindon, is seeking a Junior Estimator to join their growing team. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and from their office, with a salary of £25,000 – £27,000 per annum, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities: Pricing Support: Assist senior estimators with pricing enquiries. Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors to obtain and compare pricing information. Project Collaboration: Work closely with sales and project management teams to ensure deadlines are met. Cost Analysis: Review and discuss quotes with vendors to ensure competitive pricing. Technical Insight: Call off measurements from construction drawings and coordinate with the internal design team on tender and prototype clarifications. Sourcing: Identify and collaborate with specialist suppliers and tradespeople. Contract Review: Support with final account reviews and contract assessments (training provided). Site Visits: Occasionally visit sites as required. Ideal Candidate Profile: We’re looking for someone numerate, IT-savvy, and eager to develop a career in estimating.
