Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a well-established and growing foundry in Yeovil.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated forklift driver looking for long-term, full-time employment, with opportunities for training, development and career progression.
Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you'll play an important role in safely moving materials and finished products around the site while supporting the wider production team.

Key Duties
- Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
- Load and unload materials, stock and finished products.
- Move materials safely around the production and foundry areas.
- Support production operations when required.
- Carry out forklift checks and report any issues.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and site rules.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential.
- Previous counterbalance forklift experience within a manufacturing, warehouse or industrial environment.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
- Strong teamworking skills.
- Flexible approach and willingness to support wider production activities.
