Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Material Handler Operator to join a client's busy scrap metal operation in Scunthorpe.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator with experience in scrap metal or recycling environments to secure ongoing work with a reputable employer. An immediate start is available.
What We Offer

£22 per hour Monday-Friday under CIS or Umbrella arrangements.

Key Duties
-
Operate material handling machinery, such as Sennebogen, Fuchs or Liebherr machines.

Safely move, sort and process scrap metal and recycling materials.

Carry out daily checks and basic maintenance on machinery.

Work as part of a team to meet site productivity targets.

Follow site safety procedures and maintain safe working practices.
Requirements
-
Valid NPORS or CPCS qualification for wheeled 360 excavator operation.

Proven experience operating material handlers in a recycling or scrap metal environment.

Ability to work safely and follow site procedures.

Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work Saturdays.
Shift Pattern

Hours: 6am-6pm, 12 hours per day.

Days: Monday-Saturday.

You can work six days per week or take one weekday off while working every Saturday.
