Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a large international company based in Kingsbridge. As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for assembling a range of products and components to specification, ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy and safety are maintained throughout the production process.
What We Offer

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Read and understand 2D technical drawings in preparation for different build stages.
- Prepare, measure and cut materials accurately in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Assemble a variety of products using materials including timber, foam and vinyl.
- Carry out peer-to-peer quality checks on completed assemblies.
- Safely operate a range of hand and power tools, including chop saws, drills and impact drivers.
- Complete and maintain relevant production paperwork and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area.
- Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and quality standards.
- Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to follow detailed assembly instructions.
- Health & Safety aware, with a willingness to wear the required PPE.
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing or a similar environment is desirable but not essential.
- Full clean driving licence.
