Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Night Hygiene Operative to join a growing team based in Ilminster. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Hygiene Operative, Industrial Cleaner, Food Production Hygiene Operative or Cleaning Operative who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety within a busy production environment.
What We Offer
- £15.37 per hour.
- £50 overtime bonus.
- Night shift working Monday to Thursday, 6:30pm-4am.

Key Duties
- Carry out thorough cleaning and sanitising of production and packing areas.
- Wash down production machinery and equipment in line with hygiene and food safety procedures.
- Clean drains, floors, walls and other designated areas to maintain site cleanliness.
- Operate power washers and other cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow cleaning schedules, hygiene standards and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Ensure equipment, machinery and workspaces meet the required hygiene standards before production resumes.
- Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to support operational requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures and Health & Safety guidelines.
- Confidence working with cleaning chemicals and power washing equipment.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous experience within hygiene, industrial cleaning or food production environments is desirable but not essential.
