Key Duties
- Work on a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from sole traders to limited companies.
- Prepare monthly and year-end accounts.
- Assist with both personal and corporate tax compliance.
- Manage VAT returns and bookkeeping tasks.
- Attend client meetings and handle day-to-day queries.
Requirements
- Ideally AAT qualified, although applications are welcomed from those with relevant experience but without formal qualifications.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Previous recent experience within an accountancy practice is essential.
- Experience at Technician or Semi-Senior level preferred.
- Ability to work from the Barnstaple or South Molton offices in North Devon.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive client relationships.
