Acorn Bioenergy is a developer of anaerobic digestion sites throughout the UK. This rapidly growing business is expected to become the leading biomethane and green C02 producer in the UK.
Key duties include but are not limited to :
- Procurement & Sourcing : Identify and source agricultural feedstocks, fresh produce residues, and by-products from farms, food processors, and other agricultural producers.
- Supplier Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, agricultural businesses, other suppliers and biogas plants.
- Market Analysis : Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply chain dynamics to ensure competitive purchasing and selling strategies. Provide insights into the most effective procurement methods.
- Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination : Oversee the logistics of transporting feedstocks to biogas plants, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining cost-efficiency. Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate storage, handling, and processing needs.
