The Financial Analyst II, Decision Support System takes an active role in all functions related to the Decision Support System, including long term strategy and advanced analytics. The Financial Analyst II - Decision Support System will be responsible for:
- Supporting and maintaining patient and financial data for the Decision Support and Cost Accounting System, including ensuring data quality assurance and advancing system processes.
- Developing and preparing standard monthly and ad hoc reports/analyses for management decisions, using data visualization tools to enhance analytics.
- Taking an active role in ad hoc projects across various hospital functions, including meeting with department managers.
- Performing basic to intermediate costing statistics and cost data analysis with hospital-wide departments, serving as the foundation for the hospital's cost management and patient-based profitability reporting.
- Coordinating and submitting external data submissions accurately and on time, while resolving and reconciling any data issues.
- Maintaining collaborative team relationships with peers and colleagues to effectively contribute to the working group’s goals and foster a positive work environment.
- Completing other projects as assigned by the manager.
To qualify, you must have:
- Bachelor's degree in the field of business or a closely related field is required.
- Three years of related experience in financial analysis or similar role is required.
- This position is a remote opportunity.
- MicroStrategy, Strata tool experience is preferred.
- Experience with Decision Support system is preferred.
