Description As Senior Sales Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the sales function by owning key operational processes, maintaining CRM data integrity, supporting commercial governance, and delivering accurate reporting.
Acting as a senior member of the Sales Operations team, the role provides guidance to Sales Operations Coordinators, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and serves as a trusted operational partner to Sales, Finance, Professional Services, and other business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the senior operational contact for the Sales Operations team.
- Coordinate the end-to-end sales administration process from opportunity creation through to order fulfilment.
- Ensure all sales opportunities, quotes and commercial documentation comply with internal governance requirements.
- Review complex commercial requests before escalation where appropriate.
- Support the Head of Sales Operations in developing and implementing operational best practices.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and automate operational processes.
- Maintain high standards of CRM data quality and governance.
- Support user adoption through coaching and guidance.
- Assist with CRM enhancements, testing and system improvements.
- Produce documentation and user guides for new processes.
- Support pipeline reporting and forecasting activities.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis for senior stakeholders.
- Support pricing, quoting and approval processes.
- Coordinate supplier registrations and commercial documentation.
- Assist with renewals tracking and commercial administration.
- Identify inefficiencies across sales processes.
- Recommend and implement improvements.
- Document standard operating procedures.
- Support business change initiatives impacting Sales Operations.
- Participate in automation projects involving CRM and reporting.
- Build strong working relationships across various departments across the business.
- Act as a point of escalation for Sales Operations Coordinators.
- Provide operational guidance to sales teams.
- Mentor and support Sales Operations Coordinators.
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
- Deputise for the Head of Sales Operations when required.
- Contribute to team objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Key Skills
Essential
- 3+ years' experience in Sales Operations or Commercial Operations.
- Strong CRM administration experience (Dynamics 365 preferred).
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience supporting sales teams in a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end sales lifecycle.
Desirable
- Experience with Power BI.
- Experience within the information technology sector.
- Knowledge of commercial governance processes.
- Experience supporting forecasting activities.
- Experience mentoring junior team members.
