Acolyte Executive Search has established a credible presence on behalf of leading private banks in the UK and across EMEA. Over the past 2 years, we have successfully made senior Private Banking hires into Citibank, Barclays, Julius Baer, JP Morgan, and Goldman Sachs. We are proud to be recruiting for JP Morgan’s UK Private Bank team.
The current need is to hire a Private Banker based in the London office to focus on the growth of AUM across UK domiciled HNW/UHNW private clients (individuals and families), across investable assets. The successful hire will be focused on building the book of business, leveraging the existing support, operations, and investment team. The candidate will sit inside one of the existing team structures that includes 3 bankers and 3 support staff in the pod.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a minimum of 4 years of experience advising HNW individuals, either as a financial advisor, investment consultant, capital raiser, or private banker. Must have full working rights in the UK. There is great flexibility to work from home. The candidate must be RDR compliant under the FCA guidelines, meeting any of the following criteria: Chartered Banker, CISI, CII, LIBF, or IMC Level 4.
The office is based in the CBD; however, given the work from home flexibility, the business is open to profiles who live outside the Greater Region of London. This role is ideal and well-suited for candidates that are extrinsically motivated, with significant potential to earn based on results. There is unmatched bonus potential, with main metrics/KPIs around the onboarding of new AUM clients.
Core offerings are focused around 3 main financial solutions:
- Wealth Management - with personalised investment strategies, discretionary portfolio management & advisory services
- Wealth Planning - estate and succession planning. The successful hire will have other departments to leverage for this service offering.
- Family Office & Private Office - Reporting and custody services to single and multi-family offices.
