We are looking for a dynamic Head of Supply Chain to lead our Logistics, Procurement, and Operations Planning teams, driving operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence end-to-end supply chain strategy, optimise performance, and support ACO's ambitious growth plans.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy, driving performance, efficiency, and service excellence.
  • Oversee Logistics, Procurement, and Operations Planning to ensure smooth, cost-effective operations.
  • Build and develop high-performing teams while managing key supplier and logistics partnerships.
  • Ensure robust planning, forecasting, inventory control, and alignment across Operations, Sales, and Finance.
  • Drive continuous improvement, digital transformation, risk management, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Comply with Trading Policy, Health & Safety responsibilities, and confidentiality expectations.

You bring strong leadership across end-to-end supply chain operations, backed by commercial acumen and a record of delivering improvements. You excel in stakeholder management and communication, with a passion for innovation, efficiency, and high-performing supply chain delivery.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven expertise in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK and international supply chain regulations and best practice.
  • Degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • CIPS qualifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and deliver cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire teams.
  • Experience in developing and implementing supply chain strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain movement – Procurement, Planning, Inventory Management, S&OP and logistics processes.
  • Knowledge of BES6001.
