We are looking for a

Commercial Advisor to join our growing Commercial Team in Bedford.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Building Drainage industry, supporting customers with expert advice, order management, and exceptional service throughout their journey.

About the role

As a Commercial Advisor, you will be a key point of contact for customers, providing professional support via telephone and email whilst ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence.

You'll work closely with Technical, Estimating, and wider business teams to resolve enquiries, process orders, and identify opportunities to maximise customer value.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Delivering market-leading customer service to customers and stakeholders.
  • Managing customer enquiries, orders, deliveries, returns, credits, and complaints.
  • Taking ownership of customer issues and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Working collaboratively with Technical and Estimating teams to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Developing strong product and industry knowledge within Building Drainage solutions.
  • Supporting quotations and customer opportunities through CRM systems.
  • Ensuring enquiries and orders are handled accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Identifying opportunities to increase customer engagement and sales.

About you

You'll be a customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

To be successful in this role you ideally have (but not essential)

  • Strong customer service experience within a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using CRM and ERP systems.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Excel and Teams.
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
