The Role

Are you passionate about clean energy solutions? Look no further! Sonnedix is looking for a dynamic Senior Financial Analyst, reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Finance. The role will play a key part in the ownership and execution of the quarterly group valuation process, working closely with global stakeholders to deliver asset‑level and portfolio insights. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for driving valuation outputs, enhancing financial models, and improving reporting processes, ensuring high‑quality information is delivered to leadership, investors, and internal stakeholders.

The role involves leveraging our Excel and Python‑based financial models, while developing new functionalities, automation tools, and visualisations to support evolving business requirements. You will take a leading role in the consolidation and delivery of the quarterly valuation cycle, coordinating with regional teams and senior stakeholders. The position also includes ownership of key deliverables, including Board Papers and investor reporting, supporting both quarterly cycles and ad‑hoc strategic analysis.

Desirable Skills

  • Highly proficient in financial modelling, scenario analysis, data visualisation and valuation, specifically within the context of portfolio valuation and performance reporting
  • Proficiency with VBA and familiarity with Python and SQL
  • Ability to communicate and engage effectively across all levels with both internal and external stakeholders
  • In‑depth knowledge of the infrastructure sector; knowledge of the Renewable Energy sector is a plus
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and change management
