Ever dreamt of being part of a team dedicated to shaping the future of sustainable energy? We are seeking a skilled Group Reporting Accountant to join our Global Finance team. This role is responsible for supporting the quarterly and annual group consolidation, preparing financial statements, and ensuring a smooth year-end external audit across all Sonnedix geographies. Reporting to the Head of Accounting and Control, the Group Reporting Accountant will work closely with regional finance teams and the Group external auditor to maintain financial integrity and compliance with IFRS standards.

The role will also oversee the maintenance of the group consolidation system (Anaplan) and proactively identify and resolve consolidation and accounting issues. Additionally, the Group Reporting Accountant will ensure the accuracy of financial data, contribute to the enhancement of reporting processes, and monitor new IFRS accounting standards to drive best practices in statutory reporting.

Desirable skills:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with expert knowledge of IFRS
  • Advanced experience and understanding of transactional processing (acquisitions and disposals) and consolidation in a multi-currency environment
  • Experience with consolidation software
