As a Health and Safety Lead with a major Principal Contractor, you'll be at the forefront of delivering a safe and compliant project in Dublin. You'll collaborate closely with the Health and Safety Director, ensuring that your strategies not only meet but exceed the standards expected on site.

Team / Leadership

Lead with influence; you’ll have the chance to mentor and coach both senior management and site workers. Your leadership will redefine the health and safety culture and drive success throughout the project.

What you’ll do

  • Work alongside the Health and Safety Director to develop and refine the project’s health and safety strategy.
  • Lead the health and safety function, ensuring effective delivery of initiatives on site.
  • Engage, influence, and coach key stakeholders, driving meaningful change across the organization.
  • Continuously assess opportunities for improvement and share best practices to elevate health and safety standards.

What you’ll need

  • Proven leadership experience in health and safety, ideally in construction, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in influencing and engaging senior management as well as site-level operations.
  • A NEBOSH Diploma, degree, or NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent).
  • Experience developing innovative occupational health, wellbeing, and behavioural programmes.
