Acme Fire Cult are opening a taco joint in Blackhorse Road and looking for a strong chef to join the team and help grow Acme Tacos. We have plans to expand the business later this year, so this is the ideal role for a talented chef who wants to develop towards a more senior role.

Critically acclaimed chef Andrew Clarke and the team behind Hackneys live fire destination, Acme Fire Cult, have developed a permanent street food concept, Acme Taco at 40ft Brewery Blackhorse Road. Having opened its doors on the popular Blackhorse Beer Mile in August 2025, this is 40ft Brewery's first permanent food offering, providing North East Londoners something truly unique in the local area. Inspired by Andrews trips to Mexico, the new menu celebrates authentic regional dishes from Jalisco through to CDMX and the Yucatan peninsula, whilst ensuring a characteristically playful Acme Fire Cult twist. AFC has a burning passion for quality produce and sustainability, sourcing rare and native breed meats from around the UK, day boat caught fish from Scotland and Cornwall, and the best quality fruits and vegetables from south east farms.
