AST PROPERTY MANAGER - £34,000–£38,000 City EC4 A great opportunity for an experienced AST Property Manager to join a small, friendly and well-established City of London-based property management team. We’re looking for someone with around 2 years’ private sector residential AST property management experience, ideally gained in a small team where you have been involved in all aspects of managing a portfolio. Our client mostly manages properties on behalf of institutional and charitable freeholders, so the role offers a good degree of autonomy. You’ll need to be confident using your own judgement, taking responsibility and dealing with issues without needing to refer everything upwards. We’re looking for someone organised, personable and practical, with a genuine ability to take ownership and get things done. If you’re looking for a varied role within a friendly, supportive team where you’ll be trusted to use your judgement, we’d be very interested in hearing from you. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of your portfolio, including: * Dealing with tenants, including responding to enquiries and calls * Arranging and overseeing repairs and maintenance * Managing tenancy matters and deposits * Carrying out property inspections every six months * Inspecting properties when tenants give notice and identifying works required before re-letting, including maintenance, redecoration and refurbishment * Liaising with contractors and obtaining quotes where required * Providing quarterly reports for Partners * Making recommendations and presenting quotes for approval where necessary
