The Opportunity:
An excellent opportunity for an Assistant Property Manager to join a well-established medium-sized surveyors and block managing agent. Assistant Property Managers have the opportunity to progress into Property Manager roles as the portfolio expands. This position is ideal if you have ATPI qualification and a couple of years experience within the block management sector, good organisational skills and a passion for delivering quality of service.
You will be supporting two experienced property managers and will play a key role in dealing with reactive maintenance issues relating to the management of their residential block portfolio, ensuring that these are handled efficiently and that residents receive a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting property managers and following up on site inspection reports
- Acting as a key point of contact for residents, leaseholders and clients including managing building specific mailboxes
- Obtaining and presenting contractor quotations
- Issuing work orders
- Supporting Health & Safety, Fire Risk and Asbestos actions
- Coordinating works and making sure legal notices are processed correctly
- Assisting with service charge correspondence, budgets and mail merges
- Updating property management systems (Qube training given)
- Logging and administering buildings insurance claims
- General support to Property Managers
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Required:
- Current/recent experience as an Assistant Property Manager or Property Assistant in block management
- ATPI qualification
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage own workload
- Experience of property management systems Qube or similar
- Short commute to Finchley area (within 30 mins)
