They perform all daily functions in accordance with company policies and procedures.RESPONSIBILITIESPerform all processes in accordance with SOP’s and appropriate regulatory guidelinesPerform receipt, QC checks and onward processing for Clinical Trials specimensPerform accurate data entry into various laboratory information management systemsPrepare samples for onward shipmentWork with samples under varying temperature conditions including ultra-cold (-80°C) and liquid nitrogen (-196°C)Handle deliveries of packages including lifting and carrying of boxes filled with dry icePerform housekeeping as required to maintain a clean and tidy working environment including frozen storage unit maintenance and emptying waste ice receptaclesUtilize study documentation to aid in problem solving and escalate to senior staff as requiredManage specimen related study documentation including preparation for archivingGuarantee client satisfaction by providing exceptional service to internal customersAdapt to changing priorities with guidance from senior team membersPerform specimen receipt/accessioning/shipping activities depending on your main area of work (Routine, storage or batched shipping) including but not limited toUtilize Environmental monitoring software to monitor all specimen storage units to always ensure integrity of all specimensPerform other duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSGCSEPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSStrong Microsoft Office and data entry skillsStrong attention to detailWorks well in group setting as well as individuallyStrong communication skillsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Moderate - These roles require a combination of movement and stationary work, including frequent standing, walking, and moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs.). Tasks may involve repetitive reaching, bending, pushing, or pulling, along with maintaining awareness in high-traffic or operational areas. Visual focus and spatial awareness are critical in facilities, logistics, or support settings. Emotional demands include managing interruptions, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining compliance with safety standards. Environmental exposures may include equipment noise, shared workspaces, and occasional proximity to hazardous areas.
